Olivia and Greg manage to find a house at a rental price that is so amazingly cheap for the perfect suburban street in a small Georgia town near Augusta. The neighbours, an African American couple called Janine and Dirk are so very helpful and even help them to move in to their dream home. But, there is more to this than there seems to be on the surface.

Dirk makes a hard-ball play for Olivia and so the unequal 'affair' begins.. Dirk may act like a womanising rough-sex alpha kinda guy, but Janine has him well under her thumb as she controls the relationship and keeps Dirk on a short leash, ensuring that he damages Olivia's relationship with her husband.

As Olivia is drawn into an abusive relationship with Dirk, Greg (Olivia's hubby) finds himself under attack by Janine's maid, Molly! This too is orchestrated by Janine, who uses the shame and humiliation that Greg feels to punish him in a most exquisite way, opening a blackmail gambit and making sure that the husband does not interfere with Dirk's overwhelming of the wife.

These events are no coincidence and soon there will be an auction and what begins to unfold is a frightening tale of female domination and ruthless exploitation.
